2 yards of 100% Andean Highland Wool in Poinsettia
1 yards 100% Andean Highland Wool in Saffron
2 eyes
A set of stitch markers 
plus - 2 yds of Spice + 1 yard of Mustard in Wool Ease

Have you knit Poppy Chicken by Jessica Reeves Potasz?  It's a free pattern on Ravelry.  I knit my sample up in one evening and it was so much fun, I dyed up some yarn in my brother, Eliot's, chickens colors.  My brother has had chickens for years and takes such good care of them.  They get all kinds of special goodies and when they get sick, he takes them to the vet for treatment.  He's had a flock of 8-12 over the years, adding young hens to his existing flock from time to time without the older hens even knowing.  I've been the recipient of his fresh eggs over the years and there's really nothing better.
