Shaft has a friction joint so the spindle can be taken apart and stored.  The whorl can be flipped between top up and bottom up depending on the way you like to spin.

My husband renewed his interest in wood turning while watching videos of resin casting with wood.  Although not all of his drop spindles have resin, the inspiration for each one is accentuated by his wife’s love for color.  The combination of natural wood grains and resin dyes highlight the beauty of these one of a kind drop spindles.  Hope you appreciate them as much as we do.
